GUEST INFORMATION

Declan and Jean (and Roxie, the Jack Russell Cross) would like to welcome you to Trevarrian Lodge. We hope you enjoy your stay with us. The information below should contain anything you need to know, but if you have any other questions, or require anything else at all, please ask us. During this time of Coronavirus COVID 19, special measures have been taken in accordance with Government Guidelines for Accommodation and there will be changes throughout the building for the duration of your stay. We do apologise in advance and hope all of our guests understand the reason behind these measures and hope that in the future, we will be able to return to offering our usually high full service.

ALL ROOMS HAVE BEEN HYGIENICALLY CLEANED AND SANITISED FOR EACH GUEST ON ARRIVAL. THERE ARE NO SOFT FURNISHINGS OR ORNAMENTAL ITEMS IN THE ROOMS. PLEASE ASK IF YOU REQUIRE ANY SPARE BEDDING. THERE ARE NO SOFT FURNISHINGS OR ORNAMENTS IN THE ROOMS AT THIS CURRENT TIME. ALL TOWELS AND BEDDING ARE LAUNDERED AT HIGH TEMPERATURES AND BED LINEN IS COMMERCIALLY CLEANED BY A REPUTABLE COMPANY.

ARRIVAL – We are only allowed to permit 2 guests into the arrival point and check in area at one time and other guests MUST remain in their vehicle or wait outside the door. Each guest MUST HAVE THEIR TEMPERATURE READ and we can exercise our right to ask any guest with a temperature over 37 degrees to leave the building and return to their vehicle.

CHECK-IN will be carried out at the desk near the main entrance with a sanitising station also at this point. THE USUAL GUEST REGISTRATION FORM MUST BE COMPLETED ON ARRIVAL AND HANDED IN BEFORE ROOM KEYS CAN BE ALLOCATED. We are unable to show guests into rooms but will direct upstairs and to the left or right of the landing door.  

PLEASE NOTE: OUR GUEST LOUNGE MUST CURRENTLY REMAIN CLOSED AND NO FACILITIES AVAILABLE i.e. BOARD GAMES, BOOKS, DVDs. All rooms have a DVD Player in the rear of the TV and you are welcome to use your own DVDs.


PAYMENTS: – all payments MUST be taken on arrival.

All payments must now be made at the small reception unit in front of the office or in the seating area and card machine payments are preferable. There will not be a printed receipt for contactless payments however a receipt will be sent by email after departure or printed if requested. Agency payments i.e. Booking.com, Expedia may not have been made but pre-authorised at time of booking – please  check your booking confirmation prior to arrival.

BREAKFAST – times are 8.30-9.30 but separate times may be allocated if necessary.

Please let us know on arrival if you have any allergies or special food requirements as we may need to purchase extra supplies. The menu is now on the noticeboard and all menu choices must be given the night before. Our breakfast will still be cooked fresh for you the next morning as usual.

UNFORTUNATLY WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE A BUFFET BREAKFAST SERVICE but there will be individual fruit baskets in your room with all china, glass and condiments on your table in the dining area covered. Cutlery will be provided for the cooked breakfast at time of serving. All plates will be placed on the table at the front of the window and guests informed when their room number is ready to collect from the table.

PLEASE NOTE: PACKED BREAKFASTS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE but we can allocate an earlier breakfast time for you if leaving before 8am. Please let us know on arrival.

WE WILL PROVIDE SMALL TOILETRIES PACKS PER PERSON IN SEALED BAGS WHICH WILL NOT BE REPLACED FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR STAY. SO PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE YOUR OWN.

THERE WILL BE NO REPLENISH/REFRESHING OF ROOMS DURING YOUR STAY, however, please place your tray and bin/s outside your door in the morning, which will be cleaned and sanitised, replenished and covered and placed outside your door. Fresh towels can be provided on request. Soiled towels can be left outside with tray and bins.

SMOKING: We ask that under no circumstances is smoking permitted in any of the rooms (or by leaning out of the windows) or by using the Fire Escape for this purpose. This is not only disrespectful of any future guests using the rooms, but is also a danger/fire hazard if cigarette ends, matches or anything flammable is thrown out of the windows SMOKERS BOX is situated outside the rear and front doors of Trevarrian Lodge. We will exercise the right to ask anyone caught smoking in prohibited areas to leave the premises. It is illegal to smoke in this building.

LAUNDRY – UNFORTUNATELY, WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROVIDE A LAUNDRY SERVICE DURING YOUR STAY however, There is a hose pipe, drying rack/hangers for wetsuits and a rotary line/pegs for beach wear, at the rear of the building in the guests seating area for our guests to use. If unsure of location, please ask us. PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE CLEANED AND DISINFECTED DAILY BUT TREVARRIAN LODGE CAN ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR GARMENTS AND THESE FACILITIES ARE USED AT YOUR OWN RISK.

GARDEN FURNITURE is sanitised daily but is used at your own risk with no responsibility is accepted by Trevarrian Lodge. Please place all rubbish in the commercial bins provided and all cigarette ends must be placed in THE SMOKERS BOX.

CHECK OUT TIME IS 10.30AM and we ask that you vacate your room by this time to enable us to prepare the rooms for incoming guests. NO EARLIER CHECK-IN AND NO LATER CHECK OUT IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE and please ensure ALL ROOM KEYS are left at the reception desk before departure as a charge will be levied for all non-returned keys for both the keys and the fob.
